What merge actually means

A merge applicator lays the label onto the product while both are moving, matching label speed to conveyor speed so the two meet cleanly without stopping. That is different from a tamp applicator, which pauses and presses the label down. Merge is faster and gentler on the product. Tamp is the better choice when a label has to reach a recessed or uneven surface.

It handles transparent labels

Clear labels are the hardest thing to apply well. Air trapped under clear film shows as bubbles that no customer will miss, where the same defect under a paper label goes unnoticed. This machine applies smoothly and bubble-free on transparent stock, which is why it suits cosmetics and skincare as much as it suits cartons.

Optional coding integration

A coding system can be added to print production dates, batch numbers and expiry information as products pass through, covering traceability without putting a second machine on the line. We supply thermal inkjet and continuous inkjet coders that integrate for exactly this.

Runs on single-phase power

Unlike much of the equipment at this level, it runs on 110V or 220V single phase rather than three-phase 380V. That matters if you are installing into a smaller facility or a unit without a three-phase supply.
