Why three-side is a different machine

A round bottle takes one wrap label. A flat or square bottle usually takes a front label, a back label and often a side or neck label, each of which has to land squarely on its own face. That means multiple applicators, indexed product handling, and sensing that knows which face is presented. It is a more complex machine than a wrap labeler, and it is why the two are not interchangeable.

Placement accuracy

Intelligent sensors and precision electric eyes register each container before the label is applied, so placement repeats rather than drifting across a run. On a retail product, a label sitting a few millimetres off looks wrong even to a customer who could not say why.
