Six heads, and what that means

Head count sets your ceiling. Six filling heads means six containers filled per cycle rather than one, so throughput scales with how fast the conveyor can index rather than how fast a single nozzle can dispense. For most small and mid-volume lines, this is the point at which filling stops being the bottleneck.

Getting the fill technology right

Liquid filling is not one technology, and choosing wrong is expensive. Thin, free-flowing products such as juices, waters and light chemicals fill accurately by gravity or overflow. Viscous products such as oils, creams, sauces and shampoos need positive displacement, usually a piston. Products that foam need different nozzle geometry again, often with bottom-up diving nozzles so the fill does not aerate.

Tell us the product, its viscosity, whether it foams, and the container you are filling. We will confirm this is the right machine before you commit to it, or point you at the one that is.
