Where 2.08 inches fits

Narrow label stock: product labels, shelf tags, small cartons and any application where a 4-inch ribbon would be largely wasted. Matching ribbon width to label width matters, because anything wider is material you pay for and never print on.

Clean Start

Clean Start is leader technology. The ribbon threads and loads without ink transferring to your hands, the printhead or the label path. On a machine loaded several times a shift, that is the difference between a clean printer and one that needs wiping down at every changeover.

PE-coated core

The core is cardboard with a polyethylene coating, which releases the ribbon cleanly at the end of a roll rather than binding or tearing. Standard wind, no take-up core supplied.

Why wax

Wax is the standard formulation for paper labels. It transfers at lower printhead energy than resin, which means less head wear per label and lower running costs on high-volume work. Where labels will not face solvents, abrasion or extreme heat, wax does the job at the lowest cost per print.
