Everyday labelling
The ZT230 sits in despatch bays, stockrooms and light production lines, printing shipping labels, carton marks and inventory tags all day. This is the head that does that work, at the standard 8 dots per millimetre.
Clean first, replace second
Not every quality problem is a worn head. Adhesive build-up and ribbon debris cause similar symptoms and clear with isopropyl alcohol and a proper cleaning card. If a thorough clean does not restore the print, the elements have gone and the head needs replacing.
