The everyday ribbon
Wax is the standard thermal transfer formulation for paper labels. It transfers at lower printhead energy than resin, which means less head wear per label and lower running costs on high-volume work. Where labels will not face solvents, abrasion or extreme heat, wax does the job at the lowest cost per print.
Coated side out
Wound CSO. Confirm your printer's ribbon wind before ordering, since fitting a ribbon the wrong way round transfers ink onto the printhead instead of the label.
