Torque is the whole job

Capping looks simple and is not. Under-tighten and the cap leaks in transit or fails a seal integrity check. Over-tighten and you strip threads, crack closures, or hand a customer a bottle they cannot open. Multi-wheel capping applies the same torque to every bottle, which is what turns capping from a variable into a constant.

The cap feeder matters as much as the capping head

An integrated cap feeder orients and presents caps continuously, so nobody stands at the machine placing them by hand. That is where the 8,000 per hour figure actually comes from. On most lines the capping head was never the bottleneck, the feeding was.

Integrating into a line

This machine is built to sit inline between filling and labeling rather than stand alone. If you are assembling a full line, we supply the fillers that feed it and the labelers that follow it.

Verifying the closure

A capper applies torque. It does not confirm that every cap ended up where it should. Our cap detection and rejection machine catches missing, tilted and loose caps before the pack ships.

One sizing note: this capper runs to 8,000 bottles per hour and the inspection system to 6,800. If you run both, the inspector sets your line rate.

Adding a foil seal

If your product needs tamper evidence, our water-cooled induction sealer bonds a foil liner to the bottle neck after capping.
