Why inspection after capping is not optional

A capper applies torque to every bottle. It does not verify the outcome. A cap that seated at an angle, a foil liner that never made it into the closure, a cap that looks right but sits a quarter turn loose: none of those are visible at line speed, and all of them surface later as leaks, spoilage, complaints and returns. Catching one at the machine costs a rejected bottle. Catching it at the customer costs considerably more.

How it separates

Qualified bottles continue through automatically. Defective bottles are diverted to a side buffer for manual handling, so the line never stops for a single reject.

Sizing it against your capper

Worth knowing before you specify a line. Our automatic capping machine runs to 8,000 bottles per hour, and this inspection system to 6,800. If you run both, the inspector sets your line rate, not the capper. Better to size for that now than discover it at commissioning.

Where it belongs in the line

Directly after capping, and directly after induction sealing if you run one. The foil sensing only means something if a foil liner went in, so this machine and our induction sealer are natural partners: the sealer applies the liner, this machine confirms it is there.
