Standard resolution, highest volume
Most ZT410 installations run at 203 dpi, because most industrial labelling is shipping marks, carton codes and pallet placards where 8 dots per millimetre is entirely sufficient. It is also the resolution that gives the longest ribbon life and the fastest throughput.
Plan the replacement
Head life is measured in linear metres of media, not in months. A machine running two shifts will get through a head far faster than one printing occasionally, so base your replacement interval on output rather than the calendar.
