The highest resolution available
Twenty-four dots per millimetre. This is specialist territory: component marking in electronics, laboratory and specimen labels, jewellery tags, and any application where a full label's worth of information has to fit into a very small area.
Handle with care
A 600 dpi head carries four times the element density of a 203 dpi head across the same width, which makes it less tolerant of grit and abrasive media. Clean media paths and correct darkness settings matter more here than on a coarser head.
