Date coding on labelers
Hot stamp coding presses a heated type set through foil onto the pack, leaving a permanent mark. It is a simple, mechanical way to add batch numbers and expiry dates on semi-automatic and fully automatic labelers, with no ink system to maintain and nothing to clog.
Why white
White foil reads clearly on dark packaging, coloured film and printed cartons, where black coding disappears into the artwork.
